38. 'Hey, do you think that you could loan me ten bucks, so I can buy the new season of Scrubs.'

yes, a blog post. No stalling, no board games, just 100% feels.

This entry is 90% gushing about Scrubs (hence 'The Wonder Years' lyrics opening).

In the last ten days I've been very up and down emotionally.

I honest couldn't recount it all here or anywhere else.
My state of mind has just been so very fluid.

I feel like I've turned a bit of a corner; finding the right balance between solitude and socialising.
This is probably a temporary deal, but the last week has felt good.

It is reassuring; it strengthens my convictions on the need for balance in almost all things.

Weirdly, I think I owe a lot to watching Scrubs.
In the last ten days I have re-watched every season of Scrubs (even the 'med school' spin off that sis season nine).

I forgot how much I love this show. It has a great deal of depth in every single way.
If you have never watched it I implore you to do so, or at least season one to eight.
The first six season are on Netflix.

If you already have, re-watch the end to season eight below.

Honestly, it blows me away every time.
It is such a fitting and emotionally rewarding end to a tv show.
It is almost perfect and I cannot think of anything I have found this satisfying.

Don't get me wrong, the 'love story come good'' isn't anything new,
but these four minutes are some of the most beautiful I have ever experienced, especially after investing my time in watching it all again and feeling that need for J.D and Elliot to be together...

I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed this, and how happy I felt afterwards (especially after watching the 'med school' season nine which just gives some clarity to this if nothing else).

It appear to have re-awoken my appreciation of, well, beauty.
I fel liek I'm starting to appreciate beautiful pieces of writing and film again.
which is always good.

On that note, and sticking with the Scrubs theme (kind of) I also strongly suggest that you watch Wish I Was Here.
Wish I Was Here is Zach Braff's latest film which hit cinemas mid summer. It was a limited release being a kickstarted indie film so you many have missed it.
It is out to buy, but however you watch it, just do.

Again, it is beautiful, emotional and awakens empathy, at least, for me it does.

I reckon you'll like it.
